Peter & Joanna Gifford (and their children Josiah, Paula, Stephanie, Daniel and Anna) have been on the mission field in Belgium since May of 1985. The Giffords live in the province of East Flanders with most of Peter’s ministry being conducted in the provinces of East and West Flanders (where John McCrae wrote his famous poem, ‘In Flanders Fields’.) Their work pertains to most aspects of church ministry including: teaching, discipleship, preaching, evangelism, youth ministries and camps.

Carlos and Shirley Vargas work in La Paz Bolivia. They have three sons; Alex, Lucas and Jeremy. Shirley is from Victoria, B.C. and initially went to Bolivia in December 1977. Carlos is from Cochabamba, Bolivia. They were married in 1988 and for the last 12 years have been working in a district called Llojeta where they, along with two other families, initiated a missions training center and planted a church.



Glenn Craig is serving with Youth for Christ in Miami, Florida. He ministers primarily to young offenders.



Blanquita Haggerty serves the Lord in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Although her husband Frank passed away recently, she continues to serve in the word as the Lord gives her strength.



Ron and Gloria Edgecombe live in Burnaby, BC but travel in South America ministering where God takes them. This includes directing camps for underprivileged children (Argentina), preaching, Daily Vacation Bible School, Kid’s Klub, Franklin Graham Crusade (Chile), Anvil Island Camp, Christian Women’s Club, bible studies and music ministry.



Bert & Lois Mast have two children, Joanna & Joshua. They have served in the Congo in the past and are currently serving in Zambia with maintenance and any other work to support the mission station.





Other Co-Labourers
We also partner with missionaries in special areas. Some countries, for various reasons, are closed to missionaries. There are other countries that would grant a measure of religious freedom, but would discourage or forbid any form of evangelization. Yet, in all of these countries, the Lord has His faithful witnesses.
