It was 2004 when we did the major renovation to our chapel building and presented a fresh new look to our neighbourhood. We followed that with a kitchen renovation on 2006 which improved the functionality of the space. Over time as we used our building, we noticed some things that could be improved. A committee was formed and plans made to update a few things. The first project was converting our library into a multi-media room. The second project was getting improved signage on the outside of our building  (you can read about these in previous news posts).

The current project is updating our foyer and fireside room. The little used stairway in the foyer will be removed to increase our usable floor space on the main floor and provide a storage room on the lower floor. A portion of the fireside room will be partitioned off to provide storage for the chairs and tables often used upstairs. There will be other cosmetic changes as we progress and adapt to our times.
